Bernardo Yorba Entertainment Unit Weekly Newsletter
Week starting 9/17/18
The most successful students have involved parents.
DIRECTOR’S NOTES
Thank you to all who helped with Uniform Fittings! We could not have gotten this done without parent help measuring, weighing, pulling uniforms and inspecting students. Also, thank you to our students who helped out.
Thank you to our volunteers and chaperones for the football game on Friday! It was a really great evening and hopefully it gave a glimpse into what our 8th graders have to look forward to next year
Please note, that if you are picking your student up from an event, we do need to see the responsible adult with the student before we release students from the activity. Due to safety concerns, students will not be allowed to “just stay” at any event. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation to keep our students safe.

UNIFORMS
POSITION OPEN
Do you know how to sew? We need 10-12 parents to help hem sleeves and pants for our marching band uniforms. If you are able to take home 1-4 uniforms, hem, and return, that will make it so they are ready for photo day.
Heidi Gibbons (Ways and Means) will hold a Hemming 101 session on Tuesday, 9/18 at 2:30 in the MPR to go over basic hemming steps so even a novice can help!
DUE DATES
Please do not wait until the last minute to ask for an extension on a due date.
Assignments and forms are always accepted before the due date.
