The most successful students have involved parents.
- We will not be attending the Riverside King Band Review on November 10th.
- Unfortunately, we had to cancel our performance at the Placentia Heritage Parade due to rain. Safety is our first priority–the inclement weather added risk of injury and instrument/equipment damage. Thank you for taking time to bring your student on time on Saturday morning and coming back to pick them up. We wanted to give the weather a chance to clear up so that we could perform–students were looking forward to showcasing their hard work. You’ll be able to catch us at a few more events–please see the calendar.
- Marching Rehearsal 10/26 – Wind Ensemble and Colorguard only. BYMS has a minimum day, school is out at 1:00 p.m. We will have our rehearsal from 1:00-3:00 p.m. instead of the usual 3:15-5:00 p.m.
- We still really need a volunteer to fill the Uniform position on our board. As you may have noticed, our Dinkles order and distribution did not go as smoothly as it can be. We have board members and the director taking on additional responsibilities of the Uniform position on top of their already full plate. We may have to discontinue competitions in Marching Band if we do not fill this position. Please contact BYEU President Jayme Nguyen if you are interested in helping firstname.lastname@example.org
Please contact Ways and Means, Heidi Gibbons email@example.com
