Matador Instrumental Music Updates

Week starting 12/10/18

Bernardo Yorba Entertainment Unit Weekly Newsletter

The most successful students have involved parents.

  • Winter Concert Wrap Up – GREAT performance by all students on Wednesday night’s concert. I had many parents pay compliments to all groups and all performers, not just their own student’s. Thank you to parents and families for coming to support your student in showcasing the culmination of their hard work so far this year.

  • Concerns on Concert Day – many students and parents had questions and/or concerns on the day of the concert. Please do not wait until the concert date to address these matters–on concert days, Mrs. Neumayr is extremely busy preparing for the performance. Please check the website, newsletter, Google Classroom for answers. Email is typically not monitored on concert days, and time to address last minute concerns is not available.

  • Performance Uniforms – please double check the uniform guidelines – there were a few students who were wearing incorrect uniform pieces. It takes away from the overall appearance and uniformity when students aren’t wearing the correct uniform pieces.
