DIRECTOR’S NOTES
Placentia Parade – Marching Band & Colorguard – Sat. 10/12 See info sheet for all important information! We are very excited for our first performance in uniform this year–we will be the final PYLUSD middle school in the parade. If you’re planning to watch, we need people along the way to cheer us on. Parade begins at 9:30 a.m. at the corner of Morse Ave. and Kraemer, (near the Placentia Post Office) and heads north on Kraemer to Tri-City Park. We are usually one of the first few bands in the parade and we can be viewed anywhere along Kraemer. This is a long parade. If you want to hear all of the bands perform, don’t sit in a spot all by yourself. Go to a spot where there are many people. Most bands play for large groups of people. Another great spot is at the “Parade Judging Stand”. We will all perform at this spot.
Orchestra has completed seating auditions and will be placed in class on Monday, 10/7. Students may challenge another student in their section for their chair/part. Information will be discussed during class.
